The dried grasses and leaves burned inside the saggar left their fine thread-like impressions directly in the porcelain, a meadow preserved in clay. Pine cones — more generous here than in any companion piece — deepened the palette into dark charcoal shadow at the centre. Two copper wire lines cut long and diagonal across the upper edge like fence posts seen from a distance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHandmade in Limoges porcelain and fired multiple times. The exterior is completely unglazed.
