Prices

Prices are in euros. VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI). Shipping costs are shown at checkout before payment.

Handmade pieces

Each piece is handmade and fired by hand, often in saggar or atmospheric firings. Variations in colour, marks, texture and size are part of the work, not defects. Photos show the actual piece where possible.

Shipping

Orders are processed within 3–5 business days unless otherwise noted. Each piece is carefully wrapped in protective, eco-conscious materials. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Customs duties for orders outside the EU are paid by the buyer.

Right of withdrawal (returns)

If you are a consumer, you may cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To do so, email info@johnmacceramics.fr with your order number, or use the form below. Please return the piece within 14 days of notifying me, well packed and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are paid by you. I'll refund the purchase price and the original standard shipping cost within 14 days of your notification. I may wait until I receive the piece back before refunding.

This right does not apply to custom commissions made to your specifications.

Damaged or incorrect items

If a piece arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact me as soon as possible with photos of the piece and packaging. I'll offer a replacement (if available), a refund or store credit. This does not affect your legal rights below.

Legal guarantees

You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery (articles L217-3 and following, French Consumer Code). You also benefit from the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649, French Civil Code).

Disputes

Please contact me first so we can find a solution. French law applies.
