The saggar kiln is a world unto itself.
This small bowl emerged from that world carrying its atmosphere on its skin. Reduction purples, carbon traces, the warmth of Arita porcelain beneath it all.
One unrepeatable result.

Reduction firing on Japanese Arita porcelain. Exterior unglazed — shaped entirely by fire residues. Interior with a transparent satin glaze.
