Arita Series – Yunomi 7

Control was surrendered here.
The saggar kiln — loaded with rice straw from New Year's celebrations, copper wire, and gosu pigment — was sealed and fired. Deep purples, dark carbon traces, warm amber tones rising from the base. The interior glaze glows with an almost otherworldly depth.

Reduction firing on Japanese Arita porcelain. Exterior unglazed — shaped entirely by fire residues. Interior with a transparent satin glaze.
