Arita Series – Yunomi 9

There is something almost geological about this cup — layers of purple, amber, and carbon compressed by heat and time.
What emerged could not have been predicted. Only discovered.

Reduction firing on Japanese Arita porcelain. Exterior unglazed — shaped entirely by fire residues. Interior with a transparent satin glaze.

These are fragile, one-of-a-kind vessels. Functional and both microwave and dishwasher safe, though gentle hand washing is strongly recommended for longevity.
