The second crown-pattern bowl of the pair — the same raised drip motif rising from the foot, its own slight variations in glaze pooling marking it apart from its twin.

Icchin (slip-trailed) porcelain by Cacao Pottery, encountered during John's residency in Arita, Japan. Part of the Shizuku ("droplet") series — inspired by the beautiful, infinite world that unfolds from a single droplet hitting the water's surface.
