Cacao Pottery – Lotus-Petal Celadon Bowl II

The second of the matching pair — the same lotus-petal relief and the same size, pale celadon glaze pooling softly into every carved line. Together with the lotus-petal saucer, it forms a trio.

Porcelain with hand-carved relief detail by Cacao Pottery, encountered during John's residency in Arita, Japan. Part of the Rhythm series — the moment of a lotus blooming, encapsulated in the vessel. In Japan, the lotus symbolizes purity and beauty rising from imperfection, and stands as a quiet symbol of peace, spirituality, and renewal.
