An oval platter with a scalloped, lace-like edge — glaze pooling and dripping into small drop-forms around the rim, pale celadon settling calm at the center.

Icchin (slip-trailed) porcelain by Cacao Pottery, encountered during John's residency in Arita, Japan. Part of the Shizuku ("droplet") series — inspired by the beautiful, infinite world that unfolds from a single droplet hitting the water's surface.
