John Mac Signature Saggar Cup – Still Horizon

Some landscapes are defined by their emptiness.
The vast pale cream that covers most of the surface is not absence — it is space. And then, low on the body, a single quiet band of rust and warm brown drifts across the porcelain — a distant shoreline, a faraway ridge, the last trace of earth before the sky takes over completely. The fire burned gently here, choosing restraint.

Handmade in Limoges porcelain and fired multiple times. The exterior is completely unglazed. The interior is finished in a transparent satin glaze.
Combustibles: dried carrot pulp, tangerine peels, pine cones, lime leaves, wood chips, dried grass, with wire mesh, copper wire, red iron oxide, manganese and cobalt wash.

These are fragile, one-of-a-kind vessels. Functional and both microwave and dishwasher safe, though gentle hand washing is strongly recommended for longevity.
