Sougama – Pixel Pattern Square Cup I

A small square cup in the same pixelated grey-blue mosaic as the matching carafe — sharp corners, soft palette, one of a pair.

Neriage (marbleware) porcelain by Sougama, a family-run kiln founded in 1984 by Yuji and Namiko Kusaba — the only kiln in Arita still practicing this technique. Part of a matching set with the pixel pattern carafe.
