Sougama – Pixel Pattern Square Cup II

The second square cup of the pair — same pixelated grey-blue mosaic, each one carrying its own arrangement of tiles since no two pulls are identical.

Neriage (marbleware) porcelain by Sougama, a family-run kiln founded in 1984 by Yuji and Namiko Kusaba — the only kiln in Arita still practicing this technique. Part of a matching set with the pixel pattern carafe.
