A bristly, furry creature noses through painted foliage across this yunomi cup — one of the studio's stranger inventions, equal parts endearing and odd.

Hand-painted porcelain by studio wani — Kenichiro and Miriam Watajima, a husband-and-wife duo working in Hasami, Nagasaki. Sand is mixed into the porcelain clay to give an antique, iron-speckled surface in homage to Ko-Imari ware.
