Wani Studio – Tyrannosaurus Bowl

A grinning Tyrannosaurus strides beside a small figure across a cross-hatched bowl — playful, irreverent, and completely unbothered by tradition.

Hand-painted porcelain by studio wani — Kenichiro and Miriam Watajima, a husband-and-wife duo working in Hasami, Nagasaki. The dinosaur series is Miriam's design; sand is mixed into the porcelain clay to give an antique, iron-speckled surface in homage to Ko-Imari ware.
