Wani Studio – Ankylosaurus Yunomi Cup

A small, spiky Ankylosaurus sits at ease on a compact yunomi cup, the studio's playful spirit distilled to its smallest scale.

Hand-painted porcelain by studio wani — Kenichiro and Miriam Watajima, a husband-and-wife duo working in Hasami, Nagasaki. The dinosaur series is Miriam's design; sand is mixed into the porcelain clay to give an antique, iron-speckled surface in homage to Ko-Imari ware.
