Handmade porcelain vase- hand-built using slabs and saggar-fired with copper wire, fine wire mesh, and layered combustibles including woodchips, dried grasses, flowers, and banana skins. During firing, these materials enriched the porcelain surface with smoky veils, metallic traces, and shifting tonal gradients.

Banana skins introduced pinkish hues, while copper wire and mesh produced subtle metallic flashes and deepened the earthy tones. The result is a surface of layered reds, browns, oranges, and occasional smoky blacks — a landscape-like finish that evokes the atmospheric qualities of fire, earth, and sky.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind — fire, minerals, and combustibles collaborate with porcelain to create unpredictable markings of depth and character. The interior is intentionally left unglazed to preserve the delicate traces of the saggar firing, making these vases sculptural and decorative in nature.
